Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Georgia on weekdays. Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

When we were ordering the cashier was fine. She was new and she was training. I had no problem with that. It was her manager that I had a problem with. She was trying to hurry us up. Also, she wouldn't let us split the bill between a group. All had to talk between ourselves to saddle the bill. Before I got my food I went to the bathroom. It was nasty. It looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in three days. Also the ladies room wouldn't lock. Someone walked in on me. When I went to the salad bar there was no lettuce and some other things were out. There was food everywhere on the the bar. And there were signs all over the store what you can't do. My son's pasta was kinda under cooked and my pasta was very chewy and not in a good way. The bread was good but they gave us no butter. The atmosphere is really good. They draw a good crowd. There are three large TVs durned to different sports programs. However the tiles on the floor in the dining room was are very warn out and in need of repair. But the air conditioner was working very well in the dining on an 80 degree day. All in all I would come back if they were to fix some of problems were to be fixed but as it is I don't see mys

Been here several times and each time, food is delicious. For my latest fisit I just had a slice with onions, ham, pepperoni and Italian sausage. Prior to that we had the Sicilian pie which was really good with de edges perfectly crisped.

Once I saw the hoard of work trucks parked outside of the restaurant, I knew the food was gonna be good. My fiancΓ© wanted to try a ranch style pizza. I liked it all right. The tomatoes on this pizza were absolutely delicious. They definitely use fresh ingredients. I am absolutely coming back here once I’m back in Georgia.

I used to love their Italian sandwich. The last few times I have gotten it they had so little meat and cheese that I couldn't taste either the meat or the cheese. Very light on the tomato also and when I asked for extra tomato was told there would be a charge for that. Other food might be fine, but the Italian sandwich has gone WAY downhill. So sad.

Delicious thin (Neapolitan)or thick crust (Sicilian) pizza. Large portions with plentiful toppings. Order at counter and grab it when it’s done. Definitely will Be back. Had the Peppino’s pizza and love it!
